Warranty Information
Congoleum Designer Inlaid flooring purchased after June 1, 2000, is covered by a Five-Star Limited Warranty.
The Five-Star Limited Warranty means that your floor:

will not wear out will be free of manufacturing defects will not permanently stain including stains from asphalt driveways and driveway sealer will not gouge, rip, tear or indent from normal use will not permanently scuff from shoe soles, including sneakers will not discolor from mold, mildew or alkali

Caring For Your Floor
All floors require some type of regular care to maintain their beauty and good looks. Congoleum floors are easy to care for and will provide years of satisfaction, if you follow these simple maintenance suggestions:

• Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove any loose grit or dirt.
• Wash your floor with Congoleum Bright 'N Easy No-Rinse Cleaner or other suitable resilient floor cleaner.
• As with all high-gloss floors, some dulling may occur over time depending on the amount of traffic, care, and maintenance the floor receives. To restore the floor's luster, simply apply Congoleum Bright 'N Easy Floor Polish (03002).

Cleaning Tips For Your Floor

The overall stain resistance of our Mannington Resilient Floors is excellent and most spills will wipe off quickly and easily with a clean, white cloth. Removing certain substances may take a little extra effort, as outlined in the chart below.

STEPS T0 FOLLOW: - Start with first step listed. - Only do steps necessary to resolve the problem. - Always use a clean, white cloth for wiping up stains and turn it frequently to avoid spreading the stain. - Rinse with clean water and allow area to dry between steps. - If stain removal causes a change in gloss level, apply polish per recommended guidelines. - For items not covered by the chart, call Mannington Customer Care at 1-800-FLOOR-US (1-800-356-6787).

MAINTENANCE CHART

STAIN PROBLEM	PROCEDURE
Food, Beverages	If a substance is gummy, scrape off with dull knife. Scour using Mannington Award Series Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper and a nylon pad or stiff bristle brush. Saturate a clean, white cloth with bleach solution, cover stain and allow to stand for no more than 1 hour.
Tar, Oil, Asphalt Grease, Wax Paint (oil-based)	Scrape excess substance off with dull knife. Scour using Mannington Award Series Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper and a nylon pad or stiff bristle brush.
Scuffs, Marks, Scratches	Wipe with a clean, white cloth dampened with lighter fluid, painter's naphtha or isopropyl alcohol.
Minor Cuts, Burns	Limit traffic over damaged area, cover with masking tape, contact your retailer or Mannington for advice.
Lipstick, Antiseptics	Scrape excess off with dull knife. Scour using Mannington Award Series Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper and a nylon pad or stiff bristle brush. Wipe with a clean, white cloth dampened with lighter fluid, painter's naphtha or isopropyl alcohol. Saturate a clean, white cloth with bleach solution, cover stain and allow to stand for no more than 1 hour.
Rust	Scour using Mannington Award Series Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper and a nylon pad or stiff bristle brush. Saturate a clean, white cloth with bleach solution, cover stain and allow to stand for no more than 1 hour.
Crayon, Ink, Hair Dye, Permanent Marker	Scour using Mannington Award Series Heavy Duty Cleaner and Stripper and a nylon pad or stiff bristle brush. Wipe with a clean, white cloth dampened with lighter fluid, painter's naphtha or isopropyl alcohol.

Mannington warrants that your floor will meet the following performance standards:

Under normal household conditions*, your floor will not:

• Permanently indent
• Rip, tear or gouge
• Permanently stain, discolor or fade
• Permanently scuff from shoe soles
• Permanently lose its high-gloss finish to the point that it cannot be restored by Mannington recommended maintenance procedures
• Wear through the Mannington TechStar Plus urethane wearlayer with aluminum oxide
• Permanently discolor from mold or mildew growth in the vinyl with the AquaLoc moisture protection
• Permanently stain from asphalt tracking
• Discolor from underlayment panels

Your floor will be free from manufacturing defects.

*Normal household conditions are defined as common daily activities in the home.

Should any of the above circumstances occur, Mannington will authorize your retailer to repair the defective area or replace your Platinum Warranty floor with any Mannington residential resilient floor of your choice. If your floor was Installed by a professional flooring contractor hired by you, Mannington will also pay for reasonable labor costs.

Warranty coverage on the replacement floor will be limited to the remaining time of the original warranty.

Limited General 2-Year Residential Warranty

The Limited General 2-Year Warranty covers Prospector for wear, manufacturing defects and discoloration from mold and mildew growth.

This warranty means that if your Prospector floor has a manufacturing defect, if there is a chance in design as a result of wear, or if your floor discolors from mold and mildew growth and it is reported within 2 years from date of purchase, Mannington will authorize your retailer to repair or replace the floor. If the floor was installed by a professional flooring contractor hired by you, Mannington will also pay reasonable labor costs.
